How well do you know your body?

Did you know that you have over 200 bones and over 650 muscles!
 

How many can you name?

If you exercise regularly it’s so important that you understand some of the structures that make up your body. You don’t need to be able to name hundreds of bones and muscles but you should be able to identify the main muscle groups.

Why?

Because if you don’t know what muscles you are working or where they are located, how do you know if you are engaging them correctly?

It’s really common for people to initiate a movement using the wrong muscle group because they don’t understand what muscles should be initiating the movement.

Take a pull up for example. If you hang on the bar and try to pull yourself up using your arms the chances are you won’t get far… (unless you are all biceps 😜)

A little bit of education goes a long way and could be the thing that takes your training to the next level.
