Mixed Ability Pilates
Tuesdays 6.30pm & 7.30pm
Mixed ability classes are suitable for all levels from the absolute beginner to more experienced gym goers. The beauty of Pilates is how accessible it is. All exercises are low impact and gentle on the joints and each exercise can be modified or progressed to suit your abilities.
A typical class may see you using resistance bands, soft balls and other small equipment, working on your balance and coordination or even breathing techniques. You’re unlikely to sweat, but that doesn’t mean you won’t be working hard!
Classes are kept small to ensure that you get the best possible experience and high-quality tuition.
During this class there will be more emphasis on posture and core engagement.
Who is this class for?
From beginners to the more experienced. New mums (or dads), gym goers, desk workers, anyone with niggling aches and pains or musculoskeletal conditions.
Pilates classes take place in Norwich at Queens Hill Community Centre in Costessey. The space is light and spacious offering the perfect environment for group Pilates Classes.
Classes are capped at 15 attendees to ensure that you get the best possible experience and high quality tuition.
Tuesday evening at 6.30pm & 7.30pm and both last 55 minutes.
Classes typically run in consecutive 6 week blocks however this may vary on occasion. Please note the below dates are subject to change.
Block 1: 9th November – 14th December 2021 (6 weeks)
Christmas Break 21st & 28th December
Block 2: 4th January – 8th February 2022 (6 weeks)
Block 3: 15th Feb – 22nd March 2022 (6 weeks)
Block 4: 29th March – 3rd May 2022 (6 weeks)
Block 5: 10th May – 7th June (5 weeks)
Block 6: 21st June – 26th July 2022 (6 weeks)
Block 7: 2nd August – 6th September 2022 (6 weeks)
Block 8: 13th September – 18th October 2022 (6 weeks)
Block 9: 25th October – 29th November 2022 (6 weeks)
Block 10: 6th Dec – 24th January 2023 (6 week block with Christmas break)
When booking a full block of classes the price per class is discounted to £10.
Partial blocks will be charged at £12 per class.
Classes are bookable in blocks.
Due to the limited group size, you are required to book a full block to secure your place in classes.
Unfortunately no refunds or discounts are available for missed sessions for any reason.
If you are wanting to sign up once a block has already begun, you may be able to book a partial block however this will be subject to availability.
If for any reason a class is cancelled by the instructor/venue, an additional make up date will be offered or credit will be issued for future bookings.
Block dates listed are subject to change, therefore only one full block can be booked in advance.
All class block payments are non-refundable and non-transferable for any reason.
If you are unable to attend a session in a booked block (for any reason including Covid related isolation) you will be sent a recorded class or offered the option to attend a zoom class (if running).
If for any reason a class is cancelled by the instructor/venue, an additional make up date will be offered or if this is not possible, a credit will be issued for future bookings.
If a full block is cancelled by the instructor, a full refund, transfer or credit will be offered.
In the event of cancellation due to Covid restrictions or lockdowns, the block/remaining sessions will be transferred to a later date when permitted.
Under these circumstances, you will be offered the choice to retain your place and attend classes when they resume or to receive a voucher (credit) to use towards online classes or other services with the business. If taken, this credit will be valid for a maximum of 90 days and must be used within this period.
